Morso Stove
In times of cold, or whenever the air get’s chillier in the evening i like to wrap up warm in front of the fire. I don’t have a traditional fire burning in my house. I prefer to use a Morso stove to supply most of my heating needs. It looks great in black cast iron. It collects a bit of dust, but i clean it with a damp cloth once a week and that does the trick. It takes logs as it’s a traditional wood burner. I like the look and even the smell of a real fire. The glow is hard to beat. There’s nothing wrong with oil heating, but it leaves the house very dry. It’s quite expensive as well. If the power goes out the oil heating system can’t work. It depends on electric to run the burner and the pump. A modern house has to use both to be effective. Well at least it needs to have a fire or a back up stove, in case the electric goes down during a storm or power cut.
